"There is a house, a napping house...

where everyone is sleeping."* Everyone but mom that is. And why can't mom sleep? Oh yeah, that's right, she's pregnant and uncomfortable (seriously, I don't remember it starting this early with Keegan, but I for sure can't sleep very well at all anymore). That and the fact that I went to bed with a headache last night, woke up with a migraine about 4 this morning and since all I can take is Tylenol, ended up staying home from church while waiting for the migraine to go away (which mostly involved tossing and turning and catching little bits of sleep all morning) until AJ and Keegan got home from church about 12:30. Now they are both settled down for their Sunday afternoon naps (yes, AJ still naps on Sundays...it's one of his small pleasures in life) and I'm awake...and blogging of course! :) All while enjoying the beautiful cool, summery breeze that is coming through all the open windows in the house. If I haven't mentioned it before, let me mention it now....I LOVE living in San Diego.

On a side note...Keegan is sleeping like a teenager again...seriously, AJ had to wake him up this morning to get him ready for church (so not the usual course of things). It was pretty funny to watch too...AJ went in and opened his curtains so that his room was bright and cheery and then left his door open so that he could hear all the noise going on throughout the house, and still Keegan snored on (he was laying on his back, one arm draped over his eyes, sawing some serious logs). Oh that little boy makes me laugh....he is such a joy to have around. The snoring was more a result of the cold that he's been fighting off...but still, it was pretty funny to listen too. At least they haven't reached grizzly bear proportions yet, although I'm sure that will happen eventually.

*the first line of one of my favorite books "The Napping House"...seriously, you should all read it. It's beautifully illustrated too! :)
